Terms and Conditions



  1. These  Conditions  of Sale apply  to all  contracts  for the sale  of goods  by us  unless expressly excluded or varied in writing signed by one of our Directors. Where machinery has been supplied by us on lease  or hire  and spare  or replacement  parts or additional  fittings therefore are supplied by us such goods remain our property and are supplied subject to these Conditions so far as applicable.

  2. Our quotations are not offers for sale. There is no contract until we confirm acceptance of your order in writing or dispatch all or part of the goods in response to your order.

  3. Unless otherwise agreed or stated in the invoice, delivery shall be ex-works or at port of arrival in the U.K.

  4. You will be deemed to have accepted the goods as being in accordance with your order unless within three days of receipt you notify us in writing of any discrepancy.

  5. Where a charge is made by us for tools or dies in addition to the price of goods made therewith and sold to you such tools or dies will remain our property.

  6. If any goods to be supplied by us are to be in accordance with specifications or patterns supplied by you, you will indemnify us against all damages, penalties, costs and expenses to which we may become liable or which we may incur through anything done by us in execution of the order being alleged to involve an infringement of a patent registered design or trademark.

  7. If goods supplied  by us are shown to our satisfaction  to be defective through faulty materials or workmanship and if for this purpose at our request goods are returned to us (in which case only we bear the expense of returning these goods), we undertake that we will either (a) repair or replace such goods at our expense or (b) credit you with the price paid therefore. Our obligations under this clause shall exclude and be adopted in place of any other condition or warranty as to the goods or their fitness for any particular purpose whether express or implied by law or otherwise or any collateral warranty whenever given unless in writing over the signature of one of our Directors. (Addition information can be found below under the heading "Refunds / Cancelations Policy"  below)

  8. While everything reasonably possible will be done to adhere to delivery dates promised, no penalty or liability for late delivery will be accepted by us.

  9. The above conditions  shall be deemed to be valid and binding and unless  otherwise mutually agreed in writing  shall overrule  and supersede  any differing conditions  which may appear on order forms or other documents submitted to us by you.

  10. VAT. EXCLUSION- Seller shall be entitled to charge Buyer for any VAT. which may become payable on the goods whether or not included in the Sellers Quotation or Invoice.


The supplier reserves title to the goods until all outstanding debts in respect thereof have been discharged and only then will full title of ownership pass to the customer.

The risk in the goods shall pass to the customer at the point of delivery.

The goods may be used by the customer in manufacture or may be resold but the supplier still retains title to such goods as aforesaid and until full payment in respect of the goods is made then the customer when selling the goods will sell as principal as far as sub-purchasers are concerned and as agent for the supplier so far as the supplier is concerned.

The supplier  shall  be  entitled  to repossess  any  goods  delivered  and  may enter  upon  the customer's premises for that purpose and shall also be entitled to trace and recover the proceeds of any resale in the event of non-payment by the customer.


Goods  available from stock  are  delivered using the  of either  DPD Parcel Services   or ROYAL MAIL. and can be expected to arrive  within 3 days of shipment date.


We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties


Item (7) printed above  refers - and in addition;

Goods can be returned to us for any reason, not just the reasons stated above. However where this is the case this must be done within 7 days of receipt. Goods must be returned unused and in the condition in which they were first received. Please note that the customer will be liable for the return postal / delivery charges and only the full value of the goods will be refunded. This will be done via the original method of payment and only to the person who originally purchased the item.

2. No refunds will be made until the goods have been returned to us and received by our office. We advise that all returns are made via recorded delivery or via carrier. If you require assistance with this please call us on 01638 668668 or via email to sales@homalocks.co.uk.
On receipt of the returned goods we will contact you to advise you that your refund has been auctioned. This will be done within 4 working  days, the method of contact will be via Telephone or E mail.
